Setting up

Do I need my own WhatsApp Business account?

Yes — Juno connects to your own Meta credentials, so your number, your templates, and your customer relationships stay yours. We walk you through the connection during onboarding.

Which channels does Juno support?

WhatsApp Business and a chat widget for your website work today. Messenger and Instagram are built and waiting on Meta’s review, so they are coming soon rather than available now. Every channel lands in the same inbox.

Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business app on my phone?

Yes, if you choose coexistence when you connect the number: the app keeps working and your team answers the same number from Juno. The choice is made once, at sign-up, and cannot be switched on later.

Does it work with Shopify?

Yes. Connect your store and its products and orders sit beside each conversation, so stock and order questions are answered in the chat.

WhatsApp’s rules

Why can’t I reply to someone who messaged yesterday?

WhatsApp lets you reply freely for 24 hours after the customer’s last message. After that only an approved template can go out, and Juno switches you to one rather than letting the send fail.

How long does template approval take?

Meta reviews each template on its own schedule: usually hours, sometimes days. You write and submit templates from Juno on your own WhatsApp account, and each language is approved separately.

Can I send a promotion to my whole list?

You can send an approved marketing template to everyone or to a segment. By default each contact gets at most two marketing templates a day, across every broadcast and journey, and anyone over that is skipped.

The AI

How does the AI learn my business?

You fill its knowledge base with your policies, FAQs, product catalog and approved answers, and it replies from that. Your team can watch every reply and take over, and the actions you choose wait for your OK.

What if the AI doesn’t know the answer?

It answers only from what you gave it. When your knowledge base does not cover a question, it can hand the chat to your team instead of guessing, with the whole history attached.

Can my team take over from the AI?

Any moment. Your team can open, assign, and reply to the conversation from the shared inbox, with the full history already there — no lost context and no need to ask the customer to repeat anything.

Can the AI suggest replies without sending them?

Yes. Press AI in the reply box and it drafts your next reply from the conversation and your knowledge base. You edit it and press Send yourself. It works with the AI agent on or off.

Pricing and billing

Is the free plan really free?

Yes: no card and no expiry. It runs the same product as the paid plans, on your own number, with smaller allowances: two seats, 300 conversations and 300 WhatsApp messages a month.

Who pays WhatsApp’s message fees?

Meta charges per message, at rates set by message type and country, and bills your own WhatsApp Business account directly. Your Juno plan pays for Juno, not for Meta’s messages.

What happens when the AI allowance runs out?

Top-up credits take over, if you have bought some. With none left, the AI stops replying and hands conversations to your team, so customers can still reach you.

Your data

Who owns my data?

You do. Your workspace is kept separate from every other, your conversations and contacts can be exported, and we never train shared models on your business data.

Can I limit what each teammate sees?

Yes. Roles decide who can see and do what, from replying to billing. Three are built in, and you can create your own with exactly the permissions a person needs.

Is there an API?

Yes. A REST API and webhooks cover messages, contacts and orders, so Juno fits in with the tools you already use.

Try it on your own number

Connect your channels, add what you know, then choose how much the AI handles.
